Abstrak

Metode Tilawati merupakan metode pengajaran Al-Qur'an yang mengedepankan aspek tahsin yaitu ketepatan bacaan, tajwid, serta penghayatan isi dan kandungan yang terdapat pada ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an. Dalam konteks ini, pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca serta mengajar metode Tilawati berbasis amaliyah tadris di kelas Tahfidz SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman Sidoarjo. Melalui pelatihan intensif atau TOT (training of trainers) tentang membaca dan mengajar Al-Qur’an dengan metode tilawati, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi peserta didik kelas tahfidz sebagai calon-calon guru ngaji Tilawati. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang sangat signifikan dalam keterampilan mengajar dan penguasaan metode Tilawati.
