We are pleased to invite Islamic Education (PAI) teachers from various madrasahs and schools to contribute their scholarly work to Ar-Fachruddin: Journal of Islamic Education, Vol. 2, No. 2 (2025). This special issue is specifically dedicated to PAI teachers in Indonesia, with a focus on strengthening the role of teachers in developing innovative, contextual, and sustainable Islamic education practices.

The main theme of this edition is Transforming Islamic Education through Digital Innovation, Immersive Learning, and Holistic Student Development. This theme emphasizes the ongoing transformation of Islamic education in response to the digital era, where technological advancement and immersive learning approaches play a crucial role in reshaping pedagogical practices and promoting comprehensive student development. It highlights how innovation enhances not only instructional processes but also the spiritual, cognitive, and character dimensions of learners within Islamic education contexts.

  • A total of 6 articles will be published in this edition.
  • Accepted and published manuscripts in this edition will NOT incur any publication fee (FREE).
