The Influence of Learning Style and Learning Facilities on Mathematics Learning Achievement in Grade VII Middle Schools in the City of Surabaya in the Pandemic Era

This research aims to describe the influence of learning styles on learning achievement, the influence of learning facilities on learning achievement, the dominant learning styles used by class VII middle school students during the pandemic era, and the positive influence of learning facilities and learning styles together on learning achievement. The method applied in this research is quantitative research with a causal associative approach. The instruments used include questionnaires and written tests. The results of the research show that the visual learning style influences the mathematics learning achievement of class VII junior high school students in the city of Surabaya, with a t test value of 3.911 for the visual learning style. There is also an influence of learning facilities on learning achievement, with a t test value of 2.335 indicating that learning facilities have a positive impact on learning achievement. The dominant learning style among junior high school students in the city of Surabaya is the visual learning style. The calculated f test value is 3.881, which exceeds the f table value of 3.14, indicating that learning style and learning facilities together have a positive effect on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII junior high school students in the city of Surabaya during the pandemic era, with a total effective contribution of 5.5%.
