PEMBELAJARAN KITAB TA'LIMU ATHFALI AL-ISLAMA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEWUJUDKAN GENERASI BERTAQWA DI SD MUJAHIDIN SURABAYA
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas implementasi Kitab Ta'limul Athfali Al-Islama dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) guna mewujudkan generasi bertakwa di SD Mujahidin Surabaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendidikan karakter Islami sejak dini sebagai fondasi spiritual dan moral siswa, di tengah tantangan modernisasi dan pergeseran nilai. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung terhadap perubahan sikap dan perilaku siswa di kelas dan lingkungan sekolah, wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAI, wali kelas, dan beberapa wali murid, serta analisis dokumen berupa hasil penilaian kognitif dan afektif siswa, refleksi guru, dan laporan perkembangan spiritual siswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara tematik, dengan mengidentifikasi pola-pola perubahan dan dampak yang muncul dari penerapan Kitab Ta'limul Athfali Al-Islama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kitab Ta'limul Athfali Al-Islama berhasil mewujudkan generasi bertakwa di SD Mujahidin Surabaya melalui beberapa aspek kunci. Pertama, terjadi peningkatan kesadaran ibadah siswa, yang tercermin dari kedisiplinan shalat tepat waktu dan kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur'an. Kedua, terdapat perubahan positif pada sikap dan perilaku siswa, meliputi sikap sopan, jujur, dan bertanggung jawab. Ketiga, evaluasi pembelajaran menunjukkan hasil penilaian kognitif dan afektif yang baik, serta refleksi guru yang positif terhadap pembelajaran kitab. Keempat, program ini memberikan dampak jangka panjang berupa peningkatan minat siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang pesantren, penguatan identitas Islami, dan respons positif dari orang tua terhadap perkembangan spiritual serta akhlak anak-anak mereka.
This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Kitab Ta'limul Athfali Al-Islama (Book of Islamic Education for Children) in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject to foster a God-fearing generation at SD Mujahidin Surabaya (Mujahidin Elementary School Surabaya). The background of this study is the importance of early Islamic character education as a spiritual and moral foundation for students, amidst the challenges of modernization and shifting values. The research methodology employed is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation of changes in students' attitudes and behavior in class and the school environment, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, homeroom teachers, and several parents, as well as document analysis of students' cognitive and affective assessment results, teacher reflections, and spiritual development reports. Data analysis was conducted thematically, identifying patterns of change and impacts arising from the application of the Kitab Ta'limul Athfali Al-Islamu. The research findings indicate that the implementation of Kitab Ta'limul Athfali Al-Islamu successfully fostered a God-fearing generation at SD Mujahidin Surabaya through several key aspects. Firstly, there was an increase in students' worship awareness, reflected in punctual prayers and the habit of reading the Quran. Secondly, positive changes in students' attitudes and behavior were observed, including politeness, honesty, and responsibility. Thirdly, learning evaluations showed good cognitive and affective assessment results, as well as positive teacher reflections on the kitab's instruction. Fourthly, the program had a long-term impact, evidenced by an increased interest among students to continue their education at Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), a strengthening of their Islamic identity, and positive responses from parents regarding their children's spiritual and moral development.
