KECANDUAN KONTEN DIGITAL DAN DEKADENSI IMAN: KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM PERSPEKTIF AL-QUR’AN DAN SUNNAH

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji mengkaji fenomena sosial yang sedang melanda umat Islam Indonesia, yaitu kecanduan konten digital melalui perangkat genggam yang menyebabkan tergerusnya nilai-nilai iman, akhlak, dan ketaatan kepada Allah. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif studi kepustakaan dan ditopang oleh perspektif sosiologi pendidikan Islam, penulis menelaah fakta sosial ini menggunakan rujukan utama Al-Qur’an, hadits-hadits shahih, kitab-kitab ulama salaf, serta buku “Sosiologi Pendidikan Islam” karya Dr. Zainal Arifin, M.Pd.I. Penelitian ini tidak hanya menjelaskan gejala dekadensi iman akibat lalainya umat dari ibadah karena kesibukan konten digital, tetapi juga menghadirkan solusi konkret berbasis nilai wahyu. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa peran keluarga, pendidik, masyarakat, dan negara sangat vital dalam mengarahkan perilaku umat agar kembali kepada kontrol diri dan semangat ibadah. Pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam ranah sosiologi, berfungsi sebagai agen perubahan sosial spiritual di era digital.

This study aims to examine a current social phenomenon affecting the Muslim community in Indonesia, namely digital content addiction through mobile devices, which leads to the erosion of faith, morality, and obedience to Allah. Using a qualitative library research approach and supported by the perspective of Islamic Educational Sociology, the author explores this social reality by referencing the Qur'an, authentic hadiths, the classical works of salaf scholars, and the book Sociology of Islamic Education by Dr. Zainal Arifin, M.Pd.I. This research not only explains the symptoms of faith degradation due to the neglect of worship caused by digital distractions but also presents concrete solutions rooted in revealed values. The findings show that the roles of families, educators, communities, and the state are crucial in guiding Muslim behavior back toward self-control and a spirit of worship. Islamic education—particularly within the sociological domain—functions as a spiritual and social agent of transformation in the digital age.
