Abstract

The phenomenon of adolescent behavioral anomalies has become a significant concern in social and religious contexts. Muhammadiyah, as a major religious organization in Indonesia, responds to this phenomenon with an approach that emphasizes social action as a manifestation of faith. This article aims to examine how Muhammadiyah responds to adolescent behavioral anomalies through the concept of humanistic theology derived from Surah al-Ma'un and its implementation in Islamic education. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach, gathering data from various relevant sources. The findings indicate that Muhammadiyah's Social Action Enterprise (Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah, AUM) in the field of education, such as schools, orphanages, and other educational institutions, serves as an effective and solution-oriented means of addressing adolescent behavioral anomalies. AUM not only provides formal education but also character development based on Islamic values and social concern. The conclusion of this research is that the humanistic theological concept from al-Ma'un applied in AUM's educational field proves to be an effective strategy in addressing adolescent behavioral anomalies, shaping them into individuals of noble character and high competitiveness.
